Raining

It has been raining for days, over in Japan, it’s the same too. Read from Dannychoo that a woman aged 45 drowned in her own car, due to the flooding water. The strong water pressure prevented her from opening the door, thus rendering her unable to escape. The woman had called for help earlier on, but the emergency services didn’t send out any help. Another passenger also called for help but none came. The emergency services just apologised for their mistake.

When I read this, I was thinking “HUH?” An innocent life just wasted away because of a little mistake the emergency services made. I feel sorry for the woman. Hope it doesn’t happen again!!

Am I glad we don’t get floods here. The most we get are water entering the car(on very bad days) but it’s only ankle-deep. More so, rain doesn’t last long on our little Sunny Singapore ^^.
