Type of Figurines I go for
Was just looking at the stuff I preordered, and suddenly occured to me how many figurines I actually own? Below graph shows. Figma is overpowering at 50% while nendoroid comprises of 21%!
I put Revoltech and Figma together in a category since both are geared towards the “action figure” type. And I can’t help but admit that I have a softness for Figma. They’re fun and portable! As to nendoroids, my first buy was the Wonderfest Konata and Kagami cosplay as Fate/Stay Night. It cost me a whopping 127 SGD but it was well worth the money spent.
While looking back at which figurines I sold, it comprises of 36%. Lol.
Come to think of it, I am always having impulse buys and I end up selling most of them away.
In fact, after adding up everything I have in my possession, I have spent a total of 927 SGD on my figurines. >O>?! And my madness only began last year (2007) when I bought a Movic Fate – my first figurine! ^-^
So what about you? Do you sell your figurines? What type do you go for? I know one of my friends who is a nendoroid collector, while some totally go for a mixture. ^^

Hahaha I don’t really collect figures but I fell for Fate-chan as well recently orz…
Haven’t sold anything yet. But I really do need to reconsider about the space I got left (because of gunplas and other military stuff).

the percentage of the types of figures I have are quite similar to yours ^^; I like the standard scale figures more than the others; figma is bought just for fun and nendo for all the cuteness! ^^
just started collecting this year and over SGD$ 1000 already flew away ^^; my first figure is the Max factory Shana~ I think i cant bear to sell my figures away although now me is already eating grass and tree barks orz
ate too much ecstasy, am going impulse!! lol X3
