A survey covered by Sankei reveals that while 60% of adults are against elementary school kids owning a mobile phone, 60% of elementary school kids say that they approve of them owning one. Some of the reasons why there was much disapproval was because that the kids should be able to pay for their own phone line.

Mobile Phone Usage

But in Tokyo, you can spot many kids having mobile phones with them. Some parents want their kids to have the mobile phone so that they are able to keep tabs on their kid’s movement – GPS Tracking in the mobile phones. What do you think? Do you want your parents to track your every single movement?

Talk about irony that the Japanese kids want to have a mobile phone so they can mail and have all sorts of communication. In the States, I believed not many use their phone (Hint: Referring to Bluesnow. LOL) Unless my deduction is wrong. Haha. Mobile phones are very common in Singapore. Elementary kids are already having a phone, and sometimes it’s better than what the people of my age are having! Lol!  What about you? ^^
