Star Wars, is the force with you? The game got released on all platforms last week. I got the PSP version, and frankly speaking my computer died while I was getting the PS2 version so I just gave up. Big Screen gaming may be a goner for me for this game, but I am enjoying the game on my PSP =)

[PSP Review] Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Think the game is fairly interesting, very different to any other Star Wars Game I have seen/played so far. You can actually use the FORCE! And there are a lot of button combos to learn.. So the game depends a lot on your skill and technique.

Screenshot of the Game

The first scenario, you get to control Darth Vader – he is freaking slow yet powerful. A simple force can send the things flying away! >< Afterwards, a new story is formed. You control his apprentice. And you train, you get new crystals for the lightsaber.. and you can change the color of the lightsaber! ^^ Of course the apprentice is weaker. You can feel the vast different of power, comparing to Darth Vader.

This game is good if you’re a Star Wars fan. For me I personally like the “force push” button. Couldn’t do that to the other Star Wars game I played previously.. Of course this game is released on the platform Wii too, so you can actually play the game like a freaking Jedi! LOL.

I played this game for awhile before I got bored. Decided to switch to another game which I will review soon (bluesnow knows what I am playing. haha)

lol~ More games for you to be addicted toXD

The force unleashed… wasn’t that also released for the Wii?
I knew they were making one star wars game for the WIi and Lucas Arts got major ticked off when they realized Wii was making motion sensor plus for the wii motes and told them nothing about itXD (Because if they had waited they obviously could have made the game better)~ But maybe it was another game, I have a very poor memory.

I currently don’t have my wii (bro took itDx)
And I don’t have PSP~ so it looks like a game i’ll have to sit out on.

The reviews for the PSP and Wii over at gamespot wasn’t that favorable though. Force push eh? I still remember the good old days in Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast, where u force push enemies off the cliff, force pull them up in the sky and let them drop to their death and pull them directly to be stabbed ^^

@ testamnt: IT IS ON PSP!?!?!?!

@ welsper84: I have not played any games that involves force push.. This one is fairly interesting though, can use choke, and there are a lot of buttons that have different actions +.+

I played Obi-wan for the origenal X box and it had Force push=3
Thats pretty much all I used the whole game lol… you have no idea how satisfying it is to have like 50 stupid robots rushing you and to just force push them awayXD That was actually the only game I liked on the X-box haha.

@zenical. You should try Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. Though both are rather old games, it’s still fun to play^^ Jedi Academy uses Jedi Outcast engine, difference is that in single player, you get to choose the force powers you want and you can choose to play with dual lightsabers or the lightsaber staff (the one which Darth Maul uses).

You can to dismember your enemies in combat with a certain code, though it also applies to the player as well^^
