Books from Amazon Japan

Two days ago, I couldn’t resist clicking stuff from Amazon Japan. As such.. I spent again, this time on books. LOL. This is my first time purchasing from Amazon Japan, so was pretty worried whether the customs would fap on the materials in the box. I heard stories of locals like me, importing DVDs only to have them raped totally. So at the end of the day, I asked myself – will my books get raped too? The only solution is to ship and try, since experience is your best teacher.
Also the other fear I had before buying from Amazon Japan was the import fees. From the forums, I read that people had to pay import fees for the “duty” due to customs issues – we pay them to check our stuff -_-. So was really afraid that the stuff might have extra cost even with the shipping fee.
Turns out that I didn’t have to pay an extra cent for the items =D. Got these from the postman just, and oh yeah! I’m so happy.
Stuff Acquired: Anican Vol 18, Pick-up Voice Vol 11, Nana Mizuki Sing Forever Scorebook, AniSong Vol 6, Seiyuu Animedia, CompAce, G’s Magazine, Dengeki Moe-Oh.
Note, not all are mine. Haha. I managed to drag my friend into buying magazines too(since he is a magazine fanatic) The above picture shows you what’s his.
And me, being hit by Nana fever (severely) decided to buy all of these..
I kinda regretted buying so many because I couldn’t recognise most of the stars featured inside the magazines -_- Only some are familiar. As you can see, most of them have Nana’s face! Ha! I will do a review of the books once I have some free time. ^^
The shipping cost was about half of the books price in total – which is roughly the price you get when you go to Kinokuniya.
Personally I would consider buying from Amazon Japan again because I am lazy, and I hate to snatch magazines with those local desperados. What about you? Do you buy from Amazon Japan too?XD
Lastly, would like to thank Soshi for all her help with my questions on buying from Amazon JP XD

@ Death: There’s translated english version. It’s really limited but enough to get you around. Also you need to know what your stuff are called in Japanese since some of them are based in Japanese. Stuff like Megami, you get to type Megami without having to use japanese =P
@ ETERNAL: I think it’s alright because they have an english version. Enough to get you to purchase stuff O_O. I don’t think there was an english version last time though.

the Sing Forever Scorebook is a must buy for nana fans! especially for those who plays piano and band
and the interview on AniSong Vol.6 covered on a lot of things that the other magazines don’t (mostly on music)
although its pic are not as good as pick-up voice or hm3, but i would say its interview is one of the best one out there, I am so exciting for it’s next issue XDD
