Ga-Rei -Zero- Was told that it was something like Ghost Hunt. Supernatural genres are always my faves. As long as they’re close to reality and it’s something I can relate to by a slightest bit, it’s worth watching.

So a brief summary of Episode 1.

Ga-Rei -Zero - Episode 1

Natsuki and Tooru are in the same team. One night they get a call from the village, a monster has appeared. They headed there immediately. At the scene, a team of members were there trying to hold the monsters off. Unfortunately the armor they were wearing didn’t let them see the monster. The monster was a chamelon-type, able to blend with its surroundings. The noob members had to use special lens just to see the monster. Then, Natsuki and Tooru arrived, and yes they were able to see the monster (thanks to their superb armor which gave them the ability to see the chamelon-type monster without any special lens)

Ga-Rei -Zero - Episode 1

A stronger monster appeared. Their main target was him. Both gave chase on Natsuki’s bike with Tooru firing at the monster with his piercing bullets. With the remaining bullets Tooru had, he and Natsuki pulled of their special attack, Rampaging Direct Shoot and managed to kill the monster. They carve the monster’s corpse and headed their way to their next quest.

Ga-Rei -Zero - Episode 1

This time they were going to capture the monster, since the rewards for capturing the monster was better. Tooru got into position of a sniper, while waiting for Natsuki to lure the monster into the trap. He missed his shot, but the monster took a critical hit. Success! They escaped from the place after completing their mission.

Natsuki was poisoned by the monster while luring him. Her health depleted and she fainted. Tooru got infected with the poison too and they both died.

Okay I lied, that wasn’t the summary at all. Rather I was trying to type it like a Monster Hunter Quest(Game) since the zombies/monsters look like the Monsters in Monster Hunter! =D. Ga-Rei -Zero- was really confusing, because there were two other guys(which I shan’t bother to find out their names) died too, along with Natsuki and Tooru. I mean, why the heck did all the characters die?! And in the first episode! In a matter of seconds! -____-

I watched Episode 2 immediately after watching Episode 1, and again, you know the results.. I was totally stunned there. I seem to piece everything together. Maybe all that happened was just an introduction to what they’re going to start on(plot). I just hope GRZ won’t be such a zero in the third episode -_-. In addition, the music in the episodes makes the anime tense and interesting – which is why I will continue watching, but definitely not blog this since I’ll most probably make another Monster Hunter Quest XD.

lols, I watched the first episode and haven’t seen the second yet, but I really loved it how all the characters just suddenly died after they seemed quite happy. Like you, I really hope this show doesn’t disappoint!

I don’t like how they all diedxD

Not cool… But totally unexpected at least.
That big guy reminds me of the boss in Zelda: Ocarina of time, the one you fight at Goron Mt. when you’re a kid.
I mean… they even roll the same wayxD

You’re supposed to throw bombs in its mouth to beat it o.o
Apparently these ga-rei people didn’t know that.
