Because I love Nana Mizuki and May’n doesn’t appeal to me

Just like every Singaporean knows, May’n is coming to Singapore to perform live. It’s her first Live Performance outside of Japan. Big event and highlight for AFA08, definitely. Still I prefer my Nana-chan XD

Hur Live? No

When the VIP Passes went on sale on 1st November 2008, I wasn’t the least interested to waste my 100 bucks on a concert that I wasn’t interested. Yeah well the part where she’ll be performing live and also her first live performance was something appealing, yet, I resisted :D.

I did hear about people starting to hear the music for the sake of her(so they could attend the concert and go high duh) – I admit, I’m one of them, but I listened for her voice, and whether I should part my 100 bucks. Sadly, that doesn’t seemed to be the case. Was it because that I have not watched Macross Frontier? =/

Well I love Nana Mizuki and yeah all my money will go to her from now on! XD

Here’s why I love Nana, she’s great during her Live Performances, and I love her songs, her voice, I love everything about her. :) My first Nana purchase is her latest album, Great Activity. I love the album!! Well I didn’t really purchase album.. More so it was my brother’s girlfriend who purchased the album for me. She went to Japan and knowing that I liked anime and stuff, she asked whether I would want anything. And yeah, I requested for her album! Didn’t regret it! XD

One of my fave songs in Great Activity, Bring it on! was also performed in her 2007/2008 Live Tour, Live Formula. Watch to believe folks.

First off, Bring it on!

Dancing in the Velvet Moon

Power Gate – I love this song!!!! She’s so high XD

ファーストカレンダー – Isn’t she kawaii? (^_^)

One of my fave PVs of Nana-chan, for the song titled アオイイロ (Aoi Iro). Seifuku desu!!

<

I can only blame my craze for Nana-chan on abao – who tempted me to purchase her Live Formula DVD!

I like May’n, but I have nothing against Nana-san. Of course, between the two Macross Frontier singers, I prefer Megumi Nakajima. Diamond Crevasse is still a sweet song though.

I’d like to see both at Anime Expo in LA (yes, I’m American, and I didn’t realize so many anime bloggers seem to be from Singapore and Malaysia). Wouldn’t mind seeing May’n in Singapore, if only because it’d be neat seeing her in such an exotic location.

Has Nana-san or any other anime star performed in Singapore before?

no. I’m pretty sure May’n ’s the 1st anime star performing in Singapore. Seeing how this is like our first ever real anime convention.
