I gave into Zenical’s demands and decided to actually write something! I’m going to bravely attempt to summarize the last 16 episodes of Hetalia in one post… which hopefully shouldn’t be too painful since episodes in this series are only 5 minutes apiece xD

The story starts with Germany finding northern Italy in a Tomato Box and threatening him into become his hostage… unfortunatly Italy… The pasta loving country, is an Idiot and Germany regrets the ever came in contact with him… After becoming Germany’s hostage Italy decides he wants to become his Ally instead <3

A  moment Germany will facepalm over later

In World War II Italy… deepens his love of Germany… And the reliable Japan joins their team.  Japan and Italy… Make friends in the hotsprings talking about miniature toy models O___o Japan also has Gundams… If this was true the Allies would have been screwed in World War II xD

They’re talking about Miniature Toy Models… o.o

The Axis Powers get ship wrecked on a deserted Island where they play in the sand, make strategy over how to defeat the Allies.

The Allies follow them =D

From Left to right that England, Russia, America, China, and France.

The Allies go home and make master plans about how to defeat Germany!

Northern Italy introduces is brother Southern Italy to Germany… Apparently he’s as much of an idiot.

Italy Gets Captured by the Allies as a hostage… But he’s such a bother to take care of they send him back to Germany.

The manage to capture both of them and threaten Italy for information on Germany!

Italy gives too much information…

Back to the Allies’ Plans… they’re no further than last time…

China gives another plan… which is unanimously rejected xD

France Begs France to marry him because he’s in so much debt…

When England refuses France takes drastic measures…

England is apparently a master of Black Magic and tries to summon the most vile evil creature from the depths of hell to destroy Germany… instead he gets Russia… Who actually is pretty evil himself xD

Italy tries to run away from the army to find hot girls… but instead he wakes up to this…

In the last episode China has a flashback of meeting baby Japan his little brother… they don’t really seem to get along too well.

Ohhh… and there was a talking panda which made it awesome

During all these episodes there’s short mini segments (Yes… short segments within the short 5 minute episodes) called “Chibitalia.” They’re basically about Italy when he was little and belonged to Austria.

During his stay there The Holy Roman Empire suffer from his Chibi Moe and falls in love.

In the end Austria falls… The Holy Roman Empire asks Italy to become… part of him… but Italy refuses…. HRE makes a very dramatic and sad departure and never returns.

They are probably going to replace Chibitalia with the American Revolution soon… they keep previewing it, but not really showing much. They keep speaking Engrish which worries me xD

There are currently 10 more episodes of this season, and then another 26 episodes of the second season! The anime has definitely been watered down from the manga (made more appropriate for children xD)But I have been enjoying it. I hope to see more Hungary and Prussia… Korea in the second season would also be nice. Till then I will try to keep up to date <3
