So, according to HobbyMedia, Cup Noodles from Nissin will come with a 1/380 Gunpla, on 31st August, the last day in which the Giant 1/1 Gundam in Odaiba will be standing.

Gundam in a Ramen

These CUP NOODLES MINI GUNPLA from Nissin will be released on 31th August: the last day of the 1/1 Gundam in Odaiba. It’s quite ironic since the Gunpla contained are in 1/380 scale: the smallest Gundam model kits ever produced! There are 4 different mini model kits: Gundam RX78, the DOM, CHAR ZAKU II (red) and ZAKU II (green).

There are 4 different types of Gundams to collect, mainly being: Gundam RX78, the DOM, CHAR ZAKU II (red) and ZAKU II (green).

Personally, I’ve not watched the Original Mobile Suit Gundam , but I have Gunpla of Zaku II and the RX78 at home. I like the RX78. It’s a simple Gundam that’s resilient and without all the other extra power-ups in the recent Gundams. (Yes I’m looking at you Exia and 00, with your GN Arms, Trans-Am and all.)

Anyone going to Japan during this period? Do bring back a few of these Cup Noodles. :D

    ^ They aren’t food for people that are health concerned lol xD
    Its food for people that have no money… you can get them for like 25 cent here~
    People in college live off them and good deals on Pizza they can find.
    Since I still live at home while attending college though I haven’t had to stoop that low.
    But if I did live at college I probably would… because I generally feel that spending more than $1 on a normal meal is a ripoff xD
    (Cheap Bluesnow is cheap).

    @optic: They’re convenient when you want to camp out in the library. The only reason why I didn’t live on them is because the ones I’ve got weren’t cupped and they were revolting. I gave up after one day.

    @bluesnow: That IS cheap, I almost died of starvation when I spent like 2 bucks on dinner one night.

    BTW, a 1/380 is around 4.7 cm tall. I’m assuming it’s around the size of a puchi nendo.

    True. these do make you fat but they’re relatively fast to cook when you’re rushing out project work.

    @bluesnow

    woahhhhhh. are you kidding me? 25cents??! we pay close to $1.50 a cup for this stuff and even with the exchange rate it still doesn’t justify the inflated pricing.

    @GNdynames

    mm. should be around that size. Still waiting if my friend from Japan would ship it over, if not, any other kind soul here going over to Japan, do bring back. :)
