Where I live in the US we’re on the tail end of a heat wave. Most of the summer here was cool and rainy, I think I joked with Zenical a few times that it felt more like an eternal spring than summer. But the last week has been all sun, muggy, and about 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38C) or more if you count the humidity index. As a result I’ve been finding more excuses to go shopping and visit friends and family who have AC. xD

So how do you stay cool in the heat? I don’t have an air conditioner so I’ve had to resort to Popsicles and gallons of ice tea (In my cool snowman mug… which appears to be melting in that picture O_o). The weather man claims the heat wave will end soon returning to constant rain;  I like the rain, but I’m a little depressed that my summer is almost over.

I will be returning to University on August 31st, and Zenical already started classes again a while back. While I don’t have anything as cool as a Hocchan pencil case; I recently unearthed a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time binder I had gotten through Nintendo Power magazine more than a decade ago that I plan to use! As school starts I anticipate my activity on Zotaku to skyrocket in correlation with my increase in homework… my desire to procrastinate while writing essays is unmatched xD

I’m interested in what anime series will be airing this fall, hopefully we will have an post introducing new Fall Anime soon (*Pokes Zen with a stick)

Although the few bits of news I’ve seen have left me worried that there isn’t much for me to watch in the new season… Perhaps I will start catching up on backlogged series? If I get desperate enough I always could watch Haruhi’s endless eight xD
