K-ON! Mobip – Yui & Mugi
Looks like Mugi will be getting her “first” figurine release (despite the fact that we know she’ll be coming to us in Nendoroid form soon) And Yui is too XD.
Retail price is at 3,150 yen, and she’ll be out this October 2009. Preorder yours at Hobby Search.

Their faces look off – my friend was screaming to me over MSN earlier that this is a DO-NOT-WANT figurine for him. He’s a die-hard collector of figmas, I have seen him collecting almost every single exclusive figma. The only ones he missed were guys figmas =P. LOL. Yeah so the point I am trying to put across is.. figma > mobip now. Well what about you? I know many people have been comparing Revoltech and Figma back when Figma was just introduced. Both have their pros and cons. And Mobip.. is new to me o.O. Looks like more Mobip figurines will have to be produced to persuade collectors to purchase them ^^.
If Max Factory are intending to release the girls in Figma form, I don’t think I will purchase them. Trying to stay away from figma now ^^.
Those faces…frighten me! O.o

They frighten me too~
Its because the faces aren’t round enough I think.

I’ve been wanting a Mugi-chan figure for a while now, but I’m going to have to pass.
I’m not sure if it’s the faces or poor promotional photography or something else, but comparing Mobips to Figmas is like comparing mannequins to real people…

somehow, the faces look far too plastic and yui’s face looks weird. I’ll stick with figmas if i had to choose.

@ Snark: Yes scary that I don’t even want to bother ordering XD
@ bluesnow: it’s the eyes!!! LOL
@ MorpheusDreamweaver: Yeah I know that you are a Mugi fan, so was looking whether you are going to order this one, looks like the weird face isn’t enough for you to get her eh XD
@ M: NENDOROID!! =D
