EyePet: Your PS3 Pet
Sony will be releasing EyePet on November 17 2009. What is EyePet?
A person will be able to interact with a creature using the PlayStation Eye camera. Yes a pet on your TV! It’s basically all the fun of owning a pet without the mess!
Using the PlayStation Eye, gamers can interact with the pet with every object placed in front of it. For example, wave your fingers in front of the camera, and the EyePet will laugh. Roll a ball, and he’ll race after it. Poke him with a stick, and he’ll jump.
EyePet is also customizable, letting you modify fur length, color and pattern, as well as the ability to outfit your pet with more than 250 unique collectible items. Using the included “Magic Card,” owners can also bring drawings and objects to life by simply sketching things like an airplane or car, and make them your pet’s own three-dimensional toy.
North America will get EyePet on November 17 2009, $39.99 without the Playstation Eye, and $59.99 bundled with it. A pretty good deal as the Playstation Eye only cost $20! ^^.
But is this a good enough deal? Like seriously will you bother to play with air in front of your TV and tell your virtual pet that you love him? LOL.
I never liked pets and I don’t see having an eyepet will change my mind. -_-

@ bluesnow: LOL pikachu. I think its just a way of making consumers to purchase the PS eye, since not many ppl actually have one. Like what game can you use it for?!
