Long series aren’t bad as long as it’s not long due to fillers (e.g. Naruto, Bleach). As for what to compare it to, Monster does have that realistic feeling like Death Note minus the supernatural, but it’s just so different in other areas. The plot is simply superb with believable character development.

You just have to dive into it! Monster is well worth the watch and its length should be seen as a good thing since it gives the series time to fully expand the plot.

I had the same problem~ Procrastination is bad~
Though Monster drags so much I was always able to jump back in and not feel toooooo lost…
I forgot some of the characters though xD

Umm the same Seiyuu thats speaking Yakumo in School Rumble is in the boat.I think shes kinda famous for her voice.

Monster is soo awesome in so many ways…
First off its playing in Düsseldorf wich im living 15 minutes away from and my city made a brief apperance
No other Anime is able to beat that! Hah!

The depitcion of Germany is rather good aswell.Loved the series but I had to split it up over a year since its so long.Its hard to remember whats goi8ng on all teh time though when youre procrastinating too much

Anyway…This Anime is awesome approved
