Pokemon Helps DSi to be Number 1
PS3 Slim was launched recently, and the PS3 Gundam Bundle that was available helped boost the PS3 sales last week. This week, it’s the two chart toppings Pokemon games that helped the DSi to reclaim it’s Number 1 spot. Pokemon Soul Silver and Heart Gold anyone?
Last week PS3 managed to sell 151,000 units and I expected the numbers to drop a lot this week, but so far it’s stil looking good. Currently, another 55, 000 units have been sold this week! =3
Breakdown of the console units sold:
- Nintendo DSi – 66,498
- PlayStation 3 – 55,344
- PSP – 18,375
- Wii – 17,568
- Nintendo DS Lite – 11,179
- Xbox 360 – 7,568
- PlayStation 2 – 2,612
Things are really going well for the PS3 at this point, and this December, expect PS3 to be #1 again with Final Fantasy XIII out!
