Because of a fanart I saw in dA I was convinced to finish the show and read the manga. Lo and behold, I'm addicted. It's not really the anime but a little bit of the manga, more on History and the AMAZING FANDOM hetalia has. The doujins, the fanart, the tidbits in History. Hetalia does wonders! It's addicting! I HATE YAOI. But because of Hetalia my sturdy defenses broke, crumbled to dust. US x US was too cute. Damn it. Personified countries having war in History getting their vital regions invaded, conquered then seeks independence? OMG it IS pure genius! OK so I did't mean to write a Long blog entry here but HETALIA is so fun! Plus it brings a little nationalism out of you. (even if you're not a citizen of a certain country.) HETALIA redefined world current events, changes our History subject to make it interesting,Offers extra knowledge on flags but defiles perfectly innocent landmarks. I.E. "ENgland's Big Ben and his London Bridge fought with America's Statue of Liberty and his Grand Canyon. Feeling left out, France waded his Eiffel tower and exposed his Arc de Triophe." OK so for short. I'm glad there's a movie.
