Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker TGS ‘09 Trailer
Recently, I have posted about the new Final Fantasy XIV Online trailer. Now, another trailer has arose from the 2009 Tokyo Game Show. This time, it is Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PSP.

This trailer features 9 minutes and 30 seconds of storytelling. To be honest, I have never played a single MGS game, not even on my PSP. I wanted to try MGS 4, but it is a PlayStation 3 exclusive so I did not have a chance to play that as well =(. Therefore, I am totally new to the MGS story, making this trailer really confusing… Like who is fighting who? Who is this Jack that they speak of? I really hope that I will be able to at least grasp the basics of the story when I play this game.
From the trailer, I feel that the graphics are one of the most beautiful that I have ever seen in a PSP game. If I am not wrong, from 1:27 of the video onwards it is all in-game graphics. You can tell from the not-so-good textures on the character models and also the machines. However, the lightings in the game has definitely made me overlook the textures, giving the game beautiful visuals.
If you want to experience the game yourselves, then fly to TGS and try out the demo. Another way is to wait for people to upload it to the net I guess >.<. I really hope the game will allow players to keep the Japanese audio and then set English subtitles, like the trailer.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is set to be released in 2010 for the PSP.
I’m looking forward to Rising as it will be my first MGS game. :)

Wow…. i’m just getting into the MGS games myself, but this looks amazing. Time to play 1-3 and get 4 and beat it as well lol.

I played MGS4 first, then became hooked and played 2 and 3. Innovative gameplay with an action-packed plot, my favorite. Definitely looking forward to Peace Walker.
Go try out the MGS games if you haven’t played them before!

Actually, I tried Portable Ops for the PSP. But… It was really bad… =S I don’t like using the D-pad to rotate the camera =(. I’m glad Peace Walker is different.. It uses the X, Square, etc buttons to rotate the camera, which is probably one of the best solution to play shooter games on the PSP.

Yeah I want to as well. I love games with a great story =) I love it even more if it has drama in it, which I am very aware that MGS4 have all of them =D. BUT… I don’t have a PS3 T_T and the friends that I know who owned the game, has already sold them. Oh well…….
