New Diva

I must have been half to sleep the last few days, totally missed that a new Project Diva Game was announced! No details yet, but it appears that more will be elaborated on it next month. There is currently a rumor that this will be for the consoles and not the PSP like the previous game. I hope this is a lie since I have no current generation consoles D=

For those of you who know nothing about the original Project Diva that was released over the summer, go read my review!  I thought it was a really fun rhythm game which is made even more awesome if you like volcaloids. There were a few flaws though. My biggest gripe with the original was all but two songs were entirely Miku songs; even though you get multiple “character costumes” your voice does not change. (So if you are Kaito for instance your voice would still sound like Miku xD) I think if they incorporated more characters and songs it would be awesome; personally I’m loving this song which clearly isn’t miku. (I’m also thinking this would be like a level 10 difficulty in the game hahaha)

Update: It seems that the tentative title of the sequel game is Project DIVA Arcade. Nothing has been confirmed yet for other consoles.

I hope this game will be more forgiving in terms of the accuracy when you hit a note. It’s difficult to keep your combo going in the first game =(
