Would You Buy a PSPgo or PS3?
As seen at a Wal-Mart in Puerto Rico (From Kotaku), PS3 Phat cost $299. PSPgo is at a retail price of $298. Which console will you go for?
Note that the PSPgo actual retail price is at $250. No idea why it’s priced at $298. Maybe they are pushing people to purchase the PS3 Phat(clearing of stock?) ^^”
I already have a PS3 Phat, and a PSP-2000. I will choose the PS3 Phat – I wonder how much does the PS3 Slim cost? o.O
A PS3 Slim retails at $299.99 (in USD) so it’s probably better to just go for a PS3 Slim if ya want or if you can find an original PS3 Phat that comes with PS2 compatiblty and memory card slots, go with the PS3 Phat (mainly because the PS3 Slim and newer PS3 Phats doesn’t come with PS3 Compatiblity and memory card slots).

I choose regular PSP, there’s no point in me getting a PS3 since I don’t have my own TV.

But if you’re going to hand me the cash to buy one or the other, I’d rather have the PS3. I’d rather have a video game console & a Blu-Ray player than a crippled portable.

the sony home console industry is hurting because the ps3s price was too high in the first place. so if you compared the original retail prices, ps3 being like 500 and pspgo 250 (and it is Supposed to be 250, not 298. at least in the states it wouldn’t make sense) then it wouldnt be a surprise. but with the ps3 powerhouse at $50 more (or worse, $1 in the above phat case), it just boggles the mind. walmart will probably receive a lot of flak for this, those monopolistic “unbeatable price” gougers.
