Being an owner of the iPhone for 2 months plus, I have been keeping myself updated with games – whenever I can. What caught my attention last night was: Tap Tap Revenge 3(just out on the App Store). Then, I found out that there is going to be a Rock Band version for the iPhone! =D

Avatars and chat are the key to Tap Tap Revenge 3’s social side. The game is boasting hundreds of avatar items to truly personalize your lil’ character though we’ll see just how customizable the avatars are when I’m pouting over the lack of a “frizzy hair” option. The screenshots of the chat lobby and personal messages are reminding me of some earlier Twitter apps, so that might turn out quite well. [Gizmodo]

Featuring: multiplayer, vocals, and 20 songs. If you want to rock with friends not in the same room, the app says it will synch you up with bandmates via Facebook invitation. You get the same four instruments in the mobile version – git-tar, drums, bass and vocals. Multiplayer functions like it does in the console game – you’ll hear your bandmates’ missed notes and be able to save their ass with overdrive. [Kotaku]

While TTR3 is officially available at the App Store, RB has yet to be released. It’ll be sometime around this month. I tried out TTR2 last night(It’s free) and I can’t shake my phone. I swear it will fly out if I continue shaking the phone like crazy ._.

TTR3 is available at a price of $0.99. Additional premium songs need to be purchased.

I’ll wait for Rock Band version to be out, I like the 20 songs available in the release:

  • Attack-30 Seconds To Mars
  • Girls Not Grey – AFI
  • Move Along – All American Rejects
  • Sabotage – Beastie Boys
  • All The Small Things – Blink-182
  • Hanging on the Telephone – Blondie
  • Learn To Fly – Foo Fighters
  • Everlong – Foo Fighters
  • Bad to The Bone – George Thorogood & the Destroyers
  • Hymn 43 – Jethro Tull
  • Bad Reputation – Joan Jett
  • Simple Man – Lynard Skynard
  • Ace of Spades ‘08 – Motorhead
  • Debaser – Pixies
  • Ladybug – Presidents of The United States of America
  • Give It All – Rise Against
  • Lazy Eye – Silversun Pick Ups
  • Cherub Rock – Smashing Pumpkins
  • Take The Money and Run – Steve Miller Band
  • We Got The Beat – The Go Go’s

Any folks who love music games? :D

You should try TTR2. As zenical stated, its free! So no harm trying =D. The only problem I’m having with TTR is I can’t shake my iPhone well -.- Either that, or the shake detection is not good… Oh well….
