Today Seiyuu Sunday features Rina Satou. I have been thinking of blogging about her since a few months back, but I don’t know what held me back. In case anyone is wondering, she’s voicing Mikoto! Biri Biri!

First prominent role to me is Haruka Minami. I will remember her voice forever. Following that, I was watching Asu no Yoichi! when I realised that Ibuki Ikaruga has a very familiar voice that I know. Checking up on the role, I found out that Rina Satou is voicing that girl! Woohoo. I totally missed the fact that she’s voicing Negi Springfield. >< And Night Wizard: Kureha Akabane? Omg.
I guess I like her when she’s voicing those older sister roles. They really stand out to me: Haruka in Minami-ke and Ibuki in Asu no Yoichi! She has released character singles too. Decent singing voice though I doubt that I will be following her much. It didn’t made an impact on me :3

Nah, not litterally but I do love her seiyuu role as Haruka Minami from Minami-ke and Satori Azuma from Bamboo Blade.
Oh, so she’s the voice of Mikoto Misaka from Railgun!? I didn’t know that. :)

I thought she made an awesome Nagi (Time of Eve) too. But yeah, Minami Haruka is her ‘defining’ role for me, even though I probably heard her in Marimite first.

@ Optic: Lol actually it’s a habit of mine to check on anime series I’m watching it now. So I’ll cross-reference to other shows the seiyuu did before, and yes that’s how I know. Of course I don’t remember every single seiyuu, rather I just… do my research now and then to get an “impression” lol.
