Mamiko Noto 能登 麻美子
One of the recent shows I’m currently watching has Mamiko Noto in it. Of course being a seiyuu-obsessed fan now, I kinda realised she was voicing Sadako in Kimi ni Todoke! So I thought to myself: It’s time for me to blog about her today! :3

I will always remember her voice for the gentle, calm and feminie anime characters. However, after scanning through the list I realised she did voice other roles which didn’t have the “gentle” side to them. =/

Can’t really remember her role in Akikan where she voiced Yell. Her role as Matsuri Shihou was awesome too. The fact that she didn’t sound like her usual “gentle calm self” is amazing! :D Don’t forget Fumina Konoe(Aka Hecate) in Shana! Other characters that stood out a lot to me are Tiffania Westwood from Zero no Tsukaima, Kotomi Ichinose from CLANNAD, Sawako Kuronuma in Kimi ni Todoke and Haruka Nogizaka in Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu. While they are all different anime characters, the moment I heard the characters, I knew it must be her ^_^.
Looking at who she had previously voiced, is really interesting. There are A LOT!!

Out of the entire list, I think I started taking note of her when she was voicing Kotomi. What about you?
Her role in Hell Girl as Emma Ai and Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu as Haruka Nogizaka is clearly my 2 standout roles from her.
Her role in Clannad as Kotomi Ichinose is worth taking note as well. :)

Okay, I will be honest. i DID NOT KNOW she was the voice as Kotomi and the voice of Kōta Oyamada from Kanokon is clearly a shock to me. Some much for being a Kanokon fanboy. :)

I first heard her as Yakumo in School Rumble, so that’s her most stand-out role to me. I totally didn’t expect her to be Kota from Kanokon though O.O

Mai waifu~
I have loved her for such a long time, I don’t really recall which role exactly made her stand out at first. I’m guessing it’s probably Shimako-san from Marimite. Those were the days when I didn’t know who the hell Ueda Kana, Itou Miki and other distinguished seiyuus were.

i learned mamiko noto on her role in odin sphere, mercedes~ such good voice i said,
then when i researched, i saw that she also voiced kotomi and shimako
so she’s now in my bookmark list.
mamiko noto, when her role is good, it can be very charming
but when her role is somewhat…. in the wrong way, like fumina konoe(sorry bout that) or hakkoo, it can be very annoying
i like her very soft voice

rie kugimiya is for tsundere
mamiko noto is for soft voice
aya hirano is for strong voice (though i also like her soft, like reira(nana) or lumiere(kiddy grade))
kawasumi ayako is for nobility (lafiel then saber)

“Ippen shinde miru?” XD
She’s my sister’s favourite seiyuu. The first time she said that she liked the voice was Matsuri’s in sola. When she later found out that Mamiko does Enma Ai she exclaimed “Oh no wonder I love her voice!” ^^;

Kotomi is not my favourite character in Clannad so don’t expect me to know this stuff. There’s a limit to how much seiyuu info I can take in. :(

The first time I heard about her was in Negima where she voices Nodoka Miyazaki. Her voice is so amazing, she is one of my favourite seiyuu in the world !

@ Zen: All 3 seasons are good and they follow the manga pretty well too. If you want just episodic comedy just watch FMP! : Fumoffu.
The 1st and third seasons are more following of the story in the manga but still really good.
