International Edition of FFXIII Out Before April 2010?
The long awaited game, Final Fantasy XIII will be available in Japan this coming December 2009. For the International Release, folks have to wait until 2010 to finally play the game!
At a recent financial briefing in which Square Enix announced that sales were up 33.2 percent and profits dropped 55.7 percent, Square Enix Yoichi Wada stated “progress is good” on the international version of FFXIII. Currently, it is possible to get the multi-platform game out this financial year, which ends in April 2010. Of course, this is not dependent merely on the game’s development and there will be an official announcement at a later date.
It is unsure whether it’s for the North American or Europe release.
Can’t wait for the game.. Finally a game for me to play. LOL.

they really need to put in the jap language option or sell the original japanese one w/ subtitles so the animation doesn’t have to be english-synced. i’d pay the extra 10 bucks if they offered that.

Finally a “good enough” reason to wipe that..er..(thick) layer of dust off my PS3

@atmchino
I am so with you on this. I wouldn’t mind paying more money as well for that feature. However it is pretty much impossible since they had to specially tweak the characters’ lips and maybe their animation timing to fit in with the English voices.

@ guz hence the add subtitles to the japanese version and nothing else. i can’t wait till they come out with a 1tb disc. then they’ll be able to put in both versions, all languages, better quality picture, and everything i need to live on a daily basis…errr, sans the last one.

Most likely..NA. If it doesn’t come with Japanese voice-over, then as soon as I’m done with NA, I’ll get the JP release. Then 1 year later, I’ll get the International Version.

When it saids International Edition, does this mean it’s gonna be English voiceovers but everything else Japanese like they’ve done with FFXII and FFX-2? I kinda want the text to be in English like they’ve done with FFX (don’t really care so much about the voices), but oh well.
