Sickness is eating me alive, and I almost forgot to put up this week’s Seiyuu Sunday, featuring Fumiko Orikasa! Seriously I am already running out of ideas who I should blog next. So how did I think of blogging Fumiko Orikasa? I didn’t :D. I was just randomly clicking around anime series I love and Fumiko Orikasa appeared!

Fumiko Orikasa 折笠 富美子

She has done a variable of roles that I am fairly familiar with – I guessed that it’s her voice didn’t stood out to me at all. One moment she is voicing Shirley in Code Geass, the next she is doing Rukia in Bleach :3

Her are the various anime characters she voiced [ANN]:

And now, pictures of the anime characters!

Hope you enjoy today’s feature >< and I shall go rest now! She did several characters that I don’t believed it at all! XD

She seems to be a seasoned seiyuu. Ranging from Rukia and Riza’s deeper voices to softer voices such as Shirley and Meyrin, that’s quite a nice range for pitch of voice as well as characters. According to wikipedia she’s also a skilled dancer apparently :o

I loved her in tower of Druaga. Which is still one of my favorite shows ever.

He stand out role IMO is Riza Hawkeye in FMA:Brotherhood, Torako Kageyama in Hyakko (god that was a funny series) and Shirley Fenette in Code Geass.
Overall, I find she does better in a side character role than a main.
