PS3 gamers who love to use Facebook in their spare time should be a little excited over this bit of news: PS3 might get Facebook integration. The other additional news? New gamecard options – in my opinion, not a big deal since I hardly look at the gamecard. LOL.

Those images of the PS3 XMB were reportedly taken directly from the UK version of PlayStation.com, lending some serious credibility to their authenticity. They have since been removed.

I tried to view the images myself, but they’re gone. I sort of believe this rumor, since Sony has never let us down with all the rumors – PSPgo, PS3 Slim, etc. Haha. I’m not a Facebook regular, so the integration won’t really interest me, but it’s good that they’re adding stuff to it, although Sony is a little late in doing this since Xbox will have Facebook and Twitter live this Tuesday ><
