Living Without The Net

My net died on Tuesday. Turns out that I can’t live without the net for 1 day. I wanted to return from my MIA status on Zotaku, but turns out that my net chose to die on that very day -_-.

Living Without The Net

As I have classes from Monday to Wednesday, living without the net is okay, but as I am already lagging in most of the anime news (AFA!), I wanted to return to Zotaku asap (as I have been ignoring any updates since last friday!) ^^” Of course I wasn’t able to return on Tuesday due to certain internet issues. However, as my phone is equipped with the data plan, I was able to access the internet momentarily, using the connection from my phone to surf the net on my computer! Ahh technology is so advanced now!

So what will you do if your net dies?

Here are some of my suggestions:

  • Catch a movie
  • Watch backlogged anime series
  • Play with your figurines
  • Study (If you’re a student)
  • Pack your room
  • Play games (PS3/Xbox/Wii, etc)
  • Read manga

I was thinking of catching a movie on Wednesday if my net still wasn’t working. Thankfully I was able to connect the modem online again – Had to shift the modem to my room in order to get the DSL signal working again. The only problem I have now is, my PS3 is netless!

Try a usb wifi signal. You plug it in to your computer and your PS3 should pick up that signal. Then no more netless PS3

I think your luck slipped to me yesterday… It took me 8 hours to fix my I-pod…
After doing everything from reformatting it to reinstalling itunes twice… I discovered if I switched the port that the usb cable was connected to it worked…. of course now I can’t use internet and ipod at the same tiime >.>

@ Q: I think I caught on a lot of sleep over the past few days! Heh.

@ Chris: I have no gunplas :( Or rather I am too lazy to start.. since my table is full of stuff -_-

@ Donyea: I have no idea what you are talking XD. But anyway I managed to fix the netless PS3, we pulled the lan cable to the other side.. So yeah for net-connected PS3!! :D

@ bluesnow: Get those USB ports, then you can have both the net and Ipod!

    @ zh3us: I don’t have a spare modem :(

@ atmchino: I think I walked around Singapore enough for the past week ^^”

    Can’t live without the net.

But I would either play games, watch anime, or read a book.

Oh man, without the internet I’d die. It’s just so, so, so central to how I occupy my free time. Games, news, movies, music. Everything I do is there.

@ Donyea: I’m not a very com person, but I do survive with my limited computer knowledge ^^

@ Reltair: The problem was my anime supply was low. LOL.

@ ritz: Play music as in really playing music or listening to music on the com? =X

@ DoujinGamer: Looks like you can’t live without the com too ^^”
