As I am not occupied with plans today, it’s finally my turn to present Seiyuu Sunday! Running out of ideas as to who to blog about since those seiyuus I am more familiar with have already been posted up.. :( I found a couple of other seiyuus whom I want to blog about but I only know like 1-2 roles, and it’s not my nature to blog about a seiyuu when I only know 1-2 anime roles she/he did ^^” This week, I bring you Ayako Kawasumi, and you will definitely know her, because she did the voice of Saber in Fate/stay night!

She has voiced quite a number of anime character roles, but the one that stands out the most is definitely Saber! Checked up for more information about her, and apparently one of her nicknames is: Ayachii! Lol it sounds very kawaii ^^

I am big fan of her work especially when she voiced saber. That reminds me i need to finish Fate/Stay Night. Never finished my second play through.

I’ve known Ayako as a voice actress ever since I started watching Niea_7 and then I saw her again in GateKeepers. And then suddenly her name starts appearing in other anime I’m watching: Mahoromatic, Ai Yori Aoshi, Initial D, .hack, etc. Her voice is always soft and cute in most of these roles. So I fell in love with her voice right away. I even made a shirt with nothing but Ayako’s characters on it! I even had a Night Elf Druid in World of Warcraft that I named Ayako XD Then Fate/stay night happened! I didn’t actually know who voiced Saber in the anime yet, but I was already having a crush on her. Ayako doing the voice of Saber just cemented my love for that character.
So yeah, I’m quite passionate about her voice ^^; I’m a little bit disappointed that she gets the love rival roles, but maybe she likes it that way too, lol.

It bothers me that Nodame has the same voice as big breasts from Kanokon xD
And its a surprise that she has the same voice as Saber o____o
Also was a big confused that you put a pic of the girl from Genshiken, but didn’t list her on the list xD
Since it was a picture of her cosplaying I started to have doubts about whether it was really her or not.
(on another note I guess that means she plays two otaku’s in anime xD)

From the anime I’ve watched, she voiced the deep tone and serious Saber from F/SN, then the timid Kazumi from Shana, followed by the crazy Tasuza from Ginban Kaleidoscope – as if it’s not the same person at all! XD

Ayako has a rather distinct voice (which was not the case for Saber, however, listen to Saber’s character song and you’ll immediately note the difference). I can pretty much pick her out right away (and yes I picked out Kazumi right away). Also, Mahoro should have been on the list, that’s another one of her more distinct roles.
