Another Sunday today, and time for our weekly feature of Seiyuu Sunday! Today, I’m happy to present Minako Kotobuki! You might know her from the famous anime series, K-ON! She did the voice of Mugi-chan in the anime, so you will definitely know her XD.

Name: 寿 美菜子
Country: Hyogo, Japan
Birthday: 1991年09月17日
Blood Type: B

The numer of anime characters is not as much as the rest I have blogged about, but still, having seen her LIVE in Singapore really changed my opinion of her. Such a pretty seiyuu! And she’s so young! Really caught me by surprise when I found out that she’s only 18 this year ^^”

Here are the various anime roles she did [ANN]:

She’s in the same musical group as Aki Toyosaki (Yui in K-ON!), called Sphere. Hopefully we will hear more of Sphere songs in the future. So far the songs are so-so to me. Learning to appreciate the role of Mugi in K-ON! now that Minako has my attention :DAnd lastly, the anime characters’ pictures!

Okay so I didn’t realised she voiced Rika in Hatsukoi Limited. >_> I only know about her after watching K-ON!, and I guess it must be the same for you!

For an 18-year-old, that’s a pretty impressive resume. I’m only familiar with her roles in K-ON! and Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahō, but I thought she did a nice job in both series.
