I’m currently watching the anime series Kimi ni Todoke. A big fan of the show, and I look forward to the episodes each week! :3. The manga of Kimi ni Todoke has been running since 2005, and it is no surprise that Kimi ni Todoke will get it’s own Live Action Film – it has a fantastic story!
The Live Action Film has been given the green light, as seen in the February issue of Bessatsu Margaret. Also, the next issue of Bessatsu Margaret will include a message from manga creator Karuho Shiina regarding the news.
Personally, I’m looking forward to the Live Action film. I believed there are some who look forward to the film, while some believed the film may not live up to expectations. Only time will tell, and I gotta say, it’s the chibified version of Sawako that made the anime series so enjoyable. Will the producers be able to achieve that in the film?

Are there any pics of the RL-Cast?!?! I need me some upper-lips, ya digg? ;3
I tend to not like live action of manga adaptations because they tend to be too corny ^^; What works for anime/manga doesn’t necessarily work for live action. I’m keeping my mind open though since I’m really liking the anime right now. Though I can’t help but compare to the “Wallflowers”/”Nadeshiko shichi henge” since the character in the beginning are both like Sadako.
I knew that it’s just a matter of time, given Kimi ni Todoke’s popularity.
Looking forward to it. ^^ Hope the production team won’t fail me.
i liked reading the manga i think i might watch this
