Fast food wars are heating up in Japan! McDonald’s is aiming to draw customers with four new limited edition “Big America” burgers, which will be released between January and March. Here is a clip that shows Fuji TV and Asahi TV news reporting abou the burgers and their rivals:

Each burger supposedly contains ingredients that give it the kind of unique flavor one would expect from hamburgers (California, New York, Hawaiian, Texas) named after the regions. The burgers is rather pricey, but folks at Mac are hoping that customers would want a premium hamburger experience.

They really look different from the normal McDonald’s burgers we get here. And it was a bad idea to blog this at night. Now I’m feeling the crave for fastfood -_-

what the hell is a new york burger? im a new yorker, but i’ve never heard of such rubbish. though i’d be lying if i said some of those burgers looked interesting.

points: 1. real burgers look shiny(grease) and fat(patty+extra), and should make you fat(rotund, American fat) 2. real burgers don’t cost 99¢ 3. fast foods, like mcD and BK adjust ingredients somewhat to region (like chili sauce on fries) but always conform to the same standards, feel, and taste regardless of ingredients 4. Ray A. Kroc is credited with making McD but he, like normal people, was a vulgar person who wanted to have a McD at the first Disney Land (ref:FastFoodNation) 5. forks = LOL 6. I love my burgers and fast food, but I’m underweight for my BMI. It’s all in the genes.

I wish they were having promotions like this in america. all they got is “new mocha at mcD!!1″ and “Coke glass w/ extravalue meal!”
