Get ready for another PS3 Slim, it’s the 250GB version! Previously the only way to get a 250GB PS3 Slim was to purchase the FFXIII Lightning Bundle. The color of the console was white and an original copy of the game was bundled with it. The new solo 250GB Ps3 will be available for sale in black, the same color as the standard 120GB edition.

Priced at 34,980 yen, it will be released in limited quantities in February 18.

The timing for this announcement coincides with Sony’s announcement of the “Torne” kit that converts the PS3 into a digital video recorder. Sony will be bundling the kit with the 250 gigabyte PS3 when the kit is released in March. Pricing for the bundle is set at ¥42,800.
