How much would you bid to get this Haruhi Film Strip in an auction? High enough to be 356,000 yen? Yes that’s right, the auction ended earlier on Monday, with the final bid being 356,000 yen. The “Film Bookmark Repeater Campaign” was the producers’ attempt to encourage fans to watch the movie again. Of course, there are many crazy Haruhi fans around that they will DEFINITELY watch it a second time, maybe a third.. and so forth. Then, fans can redeem the two movie ticket stubs for a bookmark made from the 35mm film reels of the movie. At least one of the ticket stubs has to be dated on February 27 or later.

The auctioned film strip comes from a key scene in the movie between the characters Yuki Nagato and Kyon. At 11:35 p.m. on Monday — just three days after the campaign officially started and less than two days after the auction began — the auction ended with 233 bids. The final bid has yet to be verified.

I certainly don’t see myself bidding so much for a film strip.. The money can be used for other purposes.. Like buying more figurines! LOL.
