March 9 was the big release date of the long-awaited game from Square Enix. Probably years for some, months for many.. I’m one of those who waited for months before the game finally was announced for a release >_<. Go on, guess the shipment figures for Final Fantasy XIII. 3 million?

With two million units shipped in Japan(December 17), and an additional of three million sent to stores in the West – a total of 5 million units! Of course do take note that its shipped, and not sold. But then again, the game should be selling pretty well. Stocks are sold out almost everywhere in Singapore now. I wonder whether we are part of that 3 million shipment?

Oh and with the awesome 5 million figures for Final Fantasy XIII, the entire series has a total of 96 million shipments.
