Loot: Battlefield Bad Company 2
As I have stated in my post earlier, I have pre-ordered the limited edition PC version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I have collected my copy on March 2nd, however I was busy with work the previous week so I can finally write this post now.
If you are wondering which edition should you get, then I would say the standard one. The only real exclusive stuff that you can get out of the limited edition are a shirt, beta access, and in-game unlocks. The shirt is really nothing special (as you can see from the image), the beta is over, the in-game unlocks can be earned by spending more time in the game. Furthermore, the box looks the same as the standard edition but with the words “Limited Edition” slapped on top of the box art. So really, I do not see a point paying extra for this.
As I have stated in my previous post, the only reason that I have bought the limited edition was that if you pre-order it, you will be paying at no extra cost from the standard edition. So why not right?
Inside the box contains the game DVD, a manual and 3 codes. First, is the installation code. Second, is a weapon unlock (I got the AKS-74U, not sure if everybody is the same). Third, is the limited edition unlocks (in-game weapons and unlocks).
Yup, that is all you are going to get from the limited edition. Whether or not you want to get limited edition or standard edition is up to you, but take my advice and just get the standard edition =).
The Limited Edition came with a military hat with the “Bad Company” logo stuck from behind. It didn’t look all that bad as I prefer military hats over caps.
The reviews are very positive and I do intend to pick it up on ps3. I’m just waiting for a price drop and after FFXIII. :)

Oh? Maybe the cap is for the PS3 version only, because EA did not mention anything about a cap at all for the PC version. Nice nice =D Think I would prefer the cap… =S

I saw a video review of the game and it looked awesome. I’ll probably wait for it to drop in price though since I’ve been buying too many RPGs lately.
Guess I’ll just get my FPS fix from BF1943 as usual. >_<

The game itself will get you hooked on for hours =). However with a stronger urge to complete FFXIII, I had to put in more time in that than BFBC2 >.<.
