Aya Hirano on Temporal Leave
Famous seiyuu Aya Hirano known for voicing Haruhi and Konata, will be unable to attend the “White Album Concert II” event on April 18 because of her poor health condition. Hirano played the lead female charater Yuki Morikawa in White Album.
She has been ill since January and was hospitalized twice due to gastroenteritis and cold. The announcement at the White Album’s official website did not specify the cause of her illness.
Hirano wrote on her blog today that the sickness resulted from her mental fatigue and no physical problem was found. She confessed her distress at the situation and promised the return in the future with more mental strength.
Note: Aya’s Blog seemed to be down due to the overwhelming visits from everyone(probably)

I hope her condition improves quickly. I’m not any big fan of her but it doesn’t change a thing about my wishes for her recovery. Mental problems can be tenacious so I pray she will be able to muster up enough strength to defeat it.
