I don’t own a Xbox 360 myself, so I do not know how folks backup their game data? Checking up on more information on how folks back up their data, it seems that this ability to save data on a removable USB stick is really handy. I know because I do that for my PS3 ;). As of April 6, Xbox users can find a certain upgrade waiting for them when they switch on their Xbox consoles: the ability to save data on the USB Flash Drive.

Devices used must have at least 1GB of extra storage, and each device can store a maximum of 16GB of data – that includes user profiles, game saves, demos and more.

Microsoft will be releasing its own Xbox 360 branded USB flash drive next month. I am so betting that it will be something in green XD.
