There has been news circling around the net that Heavy Rain, the hit interactive drama video game from Quantic Dream, will be coming to the PC.

In the Nvidia PhsyX Game List page where they show a list of games that uses the PhysX engine, Heavy Rain has been listed under ‘PC’. GameSpot has contacted the PhysX team and it seems that it is just a typo.

“We checked with the PhysX team and learned that it is a typo. Should be PS3.” — An Nvidia representative, who also confirmed that Heavy Rain did use PhysX at one time, for an E3 demo shown several years ago, but that Quantic Dream eventually switched to using Havok.

I have checked the Nvidia PhysX website and it seems like that have not changed it (1 June).

If I had not bought a PlayStation 3, this news would have been a huge bummer for me because I have been wanting to try out Heavy Rain. I have not played it yet however because Zenical and I are still waiting for the second-hand price of the PS3 copy to lower.

In the meantime, I will be busy with work, Lost Planet 2, and Final Fantasy XIII.
