I love Wednesdays. Why? Because that’s the day when Japanese singles are released for sale :3. It also means I will get my CDs very soon(sometimes earlier!). I purchase my CDs from CDJapan, so they count towards Oricon Chart Rankings. This week, 2 of my loves have their singles released (happy me! XD). They are: YUI and SCANDAL. YUI’s latest single is to Mother while SCANDAL has released Taiyou to Kimi ga Egaku STORY.

to Mother is #1 on Oricon Daily, with SID single “Rain” [Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood OP5] claiming #2. Coming in third spot is Pure Pure Heart, which has the insert song sung by Mio during the FanClub Tea Party episode. The power of the K-ON! girls weren’t enough to beat these two strong competitors, apparently.

28,644 singles for YUI and 15,973 singles sold for K-ON! I listened to both singles already, really happy that I purchased “to Mother”. Also, I forgot to order “Pure Pure Heart”, maybe that’s why they only managed to get #3 :(.

SCANDAL latest single managed to claim #5 on the charts, ah not too bad I guess :))

I have looked at the Daily Chart Rankings for 3 days already, and YUI is still getting #1. Looks like Oricon Weekly Ranking will be #1 for her!
