Ah yes, a new Harry Potter video game is coming to us soon. This time is the Deathly Hallows and you can bet that EA will be rushing to make a simultaneous release with the film.

As most of you should know, the film will be split into two parts and the game is no exception. I have not read the book yet, so whatever that is happening in this trailer is new to me. I bought the book on day one and until now it is just sitting on my shelf =.=.

From the trailer it looks like the game will potentially be a “third-person shooter”, except with magic wands and spells. and I do not know if anybody has noticed, but in the trailer when the battles are more “large scale”, they kind of give off a Stars Wars feel with lasers flying everywhere >.<.

The last Harry Potter game that I have played is the Goblet of Fire and I did not even finish it! Just totally lost interest halfway through. Since this is the last book in the whole Harry Potter series, I may get the game second hand just to see how much the gameplay has changed.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is set to be released on November 9, 2010.
