Sega’s full game plan for the K-ON! anime came to light earlier in the week. It will be out for the PSP console, here’s another good excuse for you to get a PSP if you haven’t done so! Here are some screens of the game.

Game is titled “K-ON! After School Live!!” and is based on the first season of the anime. The second season of the anime series is currently airing, never too late to start watching now!

Sega promises simple rhythm gameplay. Notes flow across the screen on a bar, and you have to tap buttons with good timing. As you create combos, you build up a tension gauge which, when filled, makes the girls do some special actions. The game can be played in groups of five via ad-hoc.
