European PlayStation Plus Subscribers Gets LittleBigPlanet For Free
No, we are not talking about the PSP version. Sony Europe is giving away LittleBigPlanet free of charge for the PlayStation 3 between 29 June to August 3 when you subscribe to Playstation Plus.
There are no news yet whether or not this great offer will be available for other regions, but keep your fingers crossed! As you all know, PlayStation Plus will be released on June 29, 2010. Obviously giving away LBP for free is just to attract people to subscribe to their premium service, so you should not expect similar offers anytime soon (if not, ever).
However, there is still that benefit of getting at least four games a month (one PSN title, two PS minis, and one PS Classic). For those of you who are still not sure if this is a good deal, Kotaku has kindly added up the numbers for you:
Discounting the minis, which are usually rubbish, that’s still 12 PSN games and 12 PS1 classics a year for your subscription. That’s a great deal.
When they put it that way, I am starting to think it is not a bad deal myself o.o. For more information about the PlayStation Plus, you can visit the official PlayStation website.
