PS3 Slim White Coming Soon
I have a PS3 Phat Black. They only have Black available when I bought my PS3 since the older models (40GB) were the ones with Silver, White and Black to choose from. So yeah of course I bought a newer model, color ain’t important to me :D. PS3 Slim was launched last year – only in black. Now PS3 Slim will finally be available in White! REJOICE!
Coming this 29 July 2010, Sony will sell the PS3 Slim White 160GB for a retail price of 29,980 yen.
Besides that, white controllers and vertical stands will be available for sale at 5,500 yen and 2,000 yen respectively.
On a related note, it seems that Sony is removing the current 120GB from the market. Starting tomorrow, 7 July 2010, the 120GB model will switch to opening pricing. Most likely many shops will offer low prices for the 120GB models as they will be replaced with 160GB and 320GB PS3 Slim this 29 July 2010, priced at 29,980 yen and 34,980 yen respectively. Both available in Charcoal Black.

ugh. ive always wanted a phat black ps3. slim’s ugly, white’s too light. but then again, since the slim is ugly, white is probably better – just easier to dirty up
