Many awesome looking figures at Wonder Festival 2010 Summer. What caught my attention was also of a Nendoroid from the series Steins;Gate. Ah and it seems that the game is getting it’s anime adaptation! Chiyomaru Shikura, the head of the 5pb. game production company, has announced on his Twitter account on Sunday that 5pb. and Nitroplus’ Steins;Gate game is being animated for television.

Unfortunately more details will be provided in the upcoming September issues of Kadokawa Shoten’s Newtype and COMPTIQ magazines, shipping this August 10. Also, well-known singer and voice actress Halko Momoi also posted about the television anime adaptation on Twitter.

Some information about Steins;Gate which might make you interested to catch the anime once it starts airing:

The game is the second “scientific adventure game” from 5pb. and Nitroplus, who also created Chaos;HEAd. The artist huke (Black Rock Shooter) designed the characters.

OO. BRS OVA anyone? I caught the OVA and damn I love the art… I am so glad I preordered the Black Rock Shooter Nendoroid. LOL.

Scientific adventure game? Sounds right up my alley.

A full series with BRS-style artwork should be awesome.
