The two insert songs which you heard in Episode 20 of K-ON!! was released in this single titled: “Gohan wa Okazu/ U&I“. Composer-singer Bice wrote Gohan wa Okazu before passing away in July. The single which was released last week, 8 September 2010, claimed #3 on the Oricon Weekly Single Charts.

A total of 52,785 copies were sold.

This is a new record. The highest insert song single so far is Pure Pure Heart (44,000 copies). With news of Bice passing away, I bet lots of folks went to preorder the single (me too XD).
