One of the few changes you can expect in the upcoming Gundam Musou game is the visual changes and gameplay systems: partner strike and energy dash. Famitsu’s recent coverage revealed that the game is also getting online functionality. 4 players can team up and heal each other.

Gundam Musou 3 will feature an online mode supporting four player simultaneous play, the magazine reveals. Players will be able to take part in cooperative missions, some of which are exclusively available to online players. During online play, the game will feature a new “Partner Support” system which allows players to heal one-another.

Details of the online mode is just a tiny section of Famitsu’s 4-page coverage of the game. Hopefully more details will be announced. I personally am hyped up for this online functionality! It will be so fun playing Gundam Musou with my comrades now.

The game will be out on the PS3 and Xbox 360 this December 16 2010.
