Finally got my copy of L.A. Noire last Friday after three days of carefully surfing the internet, dodging spoilers from all directions.

So while some were already having fun with the game on Tuesday, I (and many others) had to wait till Friday. And the first thing that I noticed, was the embossing of the title name. Its nothing to get excited over, but I just thought it was a pleasant finding and its little touches like these that really makes the whole package feel polished.

As you can see on the cover, my copy (and those that preordered/managed to get the game quick enough) includes ‘The Naked City’ and ‘The Badge Pursuit Challenge’ as launch DLCs.

Here is the content of the box. so apart from the launch DLCs, I also got one of the store exclusive preorder bonus which is the Broderick Detective Suit. It boosts fist-fighting capabilities and resilience to damage. Too bad I can’t use any of these DLC codes because Asia PSN is STILL down (four months in).

Oh here is another pleasant finding. I opened the manual and it was fully colored and also mimicking a detective’s handbook. Once again, I appreciate these little touches.
