Square Enix has announced a final release date for Final Fantasy Type 0 – October 13 2011. The price for the two UMD RPG is 7,700 yen, which is quite costly considering that most PSP games cost 5,040 yen!

Joining the date announcement, Square Enix revealed that the game’s theme song will be Zero, sung by Bump of Chicken.

Here is a video of 7 minutes of gameplay of Final Fantasy Type-0’s “Natsubi” demo being played and commented on by director Hajime Tabata. Do note that this is the same demo that’s currently available for play at a Square Enix event in Odaiba.
