PS Vita Only Gives You 3-5 Hours Of Gameplay

Will the PS Vita keep you company on long plane flights? Apparently not. 3-5 hours of gameplay is pretty short. In addition the duration may change depending on the brightness of the screen, what content being played and if the network (3G/Wi-Fi) feature is being used or not.

The other alternative that many are considering is the recent slashed-price of Nintendo’s 3DS (15,000 yen!), offering gamers around 3-8 hours of gameplay. Running on the minimal brightness settings, the 3DS can last for 8 hours.

Battery charging for the PS Vita takes 2 hours and 40 minutes, which is faster than the 3DS of 3.5 hours for charging. More hours of gameplay but slower charging time? Or fast charging time with lesser hours of gameplay?

Frankly speaking I am still deciding between the two.. Ultimately the decision would be based on the number of games I am interested in playing plus the price!
