Fairy Tail Movie Prologue Manga Gets Anime

Fairy Tail manga creator, Hiro Mashima announced via twitter that the prologue manga he drew for the Fairy Tail: Hōō no Miko movie, will get an anime adaptation.

The staff that animated Fairy Tail: Hōō no Miko will animate the prologue manga as well. The “Hajimari no Asa” anime will be a bonus extra for the movie’s DVD, which will be bundled with a volume of Mashima’s manga series next year.

The 30 pages prologue manga was bundled with the advance tickets of the movie, which premiered in Japan on 18 August.

I have yet to catch the movie due to the lack of company; thankfully they’re showing at AFA12 :D.
