Ai Mai Mi Gets Anime Adaptation

According to the official website, Choboraunyopomi‘s four-panel comedy manga Ai Mai Mi (I My Me) has been given the green light for an anime adaptation.

The story revolves around 4 manga club girls Ai, Mai, Mī, and Ponoka-sempai — who might be fighting evil invaders threatening Earth, facing off against rivals in tournaments, and dealing with other absurd situations when they are not drawing manga.

The anime will premiere this coming January 2013.
