In the January 2013 issue of Shonengahosha’s Monthly Young King magazine, it has been announced that an anime adaptation of Ishida to Asakura manga has been given the green light. The anime will premiere next January.
The surreal comedy manga centers around the friendship of high school boys. Masao became popular on the pixiv art community before debuting as a professional manga creator with this manga. The first two chapters were adapted into a voice drama on the niconico service.
The manga ended after 15 installments in the September 2012 issue and seems like Shonengahosha will publish a second compiled book volume with a previously unpublished ending on 19 December.
